Brandon is there

Brandon is in Argentina. We all got to talk on the phone with him on Monday except Autumn. He didn't sound scared a bit; just excited to go and learn and teach. He really enjoyed the MTC and said he learned so much. He said it was amazing how much you can learn with the Holy Ghost. He likes his companion but has a new one by now. I assume his Spanish will pick up because his mission president is Argentine and he heard the elders there are 90% native. Oh fun.
Autumn's choir I think 15 of them sang the national anthum at the Portland Beavers baseball game last thurs. Randy took everyone except Hyrum and I to watch the game. We were on a field trip to Astoria. They did a great job and josh got a baseball from the scorekeeper guy. We should go again.
We are anxious for school to be out. THis time of year goes by slowly. We have concerts and plays and all kinds of carnival things to go to. Life is great. Love you all

reese update

Life here is great. Josh said he can't remember what Brandon's voice sounds like. We miss Brandon but it is fun to get letters every week and here the great change in him already. Hyrum switched from clairinett to flute. Yea!! cheaper for us. We have a flute. He and Josh are improving on the piano. Morg is in the middle of Track and High Jumps and long jumps shes not doing as much running. Neither am I. I finally got a MRI on my sore anlke which looks fine on X-Rays and there is a spot in the middle of the tibia bone. Directly through the ankle. WHich is right where it hurts. I am seeing a specialist in June . It feels OK as long as I dont run or walk to far or fast. Heather finished track and is ready for school to be out. She is anxious for EFY in Tacoma. She is such a fun gil. Autumn is busy with choir and babysitting and Choong and homework and every activity that is offered. Randy and I taught Seminary this week. Sub. It makes me appreciate you teachers. We are getting ready to take a family camping trip up by Mt. Raineer for Memorial Day. Love you alll .

Utah Trip

Well, well we've done it. Our oldest is off on his mission. We all were able to go to the MTC and see him go out the door "Missionaries" and we went out the door " Families". He was a little teary eyed and scared. but we did it anyway. Then we were off to visit through the state. We saw Jan's house that is coming along nicely and love the colors!!!! I asked Jesse the other day if his room was painted yet. It was so funny, that after being with Jesse for a few days, when Josh talks to me now ,I see all sorts of the same manerisms . I could swear the other day I was talking to Jesse. Thats fun.. Poor Jarin. I am so sorry we gave him means to injer himself. Injer, inger what is correct? Sue was next. I love Sue's so do all my kids. They wanted to bring home a new puppy. It only took the rest of the state for them to quit asking. We spent two days in Kanab. It was nice. Randy got really sick and we headed home a little early. What a long trip. Jan and Steve, after I stopped at Sue's on the way home I was threatened with my life by a so so sick husband that if I stopped anywhere else that would be the end. I feel sometimes like I'm like Julie and oblivious to others comfort. I'm happy and that's all there is. So sorry I didn't get to see you more. We arrived home Sat night and Randy Rested all up for work. I caught a little sickness myself and was glad we were home. Then Autumn then Josh.
We recieve a letter from Brandon a couple of days ago. It was probably written the first or second day he was there. "Dear Family, Pray for me.This is the hardest thing I have ever done. I wish I had enjoyed you more instead of trying to finish the book on our trip. " and lots of kind things.I cried. If you want to write him

Snow

We have had lots of snow lately. THis past week the kids only went last fri and it was late start. Now if that won't mess up a schedule I don't know what will. We canceled Young Women . No snow plows and ice and snow but it's all gone now. We are all back to normal this week I hope. I go with Brandon tomarrow to get his suits and shoes for his mission. He is not excited about this part.
Hyrum has joined our ward choir and it's fun to have someone to go with. the girls used to go but not for this past year. He is a tennor. Julie your mail box is full again. I spent time this weekend on pics and they didn't go through. I love reading all your blogs lets keep this up. I'm trying to get the nerve to paint my living room. I have all the paint and can't quite start. I need Ticee or anyone. Autumn had her 17th Birthday and got a rat. It was the only thing she wanted. Brandon is going through the temple this Fri. I wish we had some family. Heather is starting Drivers ed which is out of school at nights for a mere $300 and 7 weeks, at nights on tues and thurs. well I need to go to bed love you all

DiAnn in January

Well only two holidays have passed sence I blogged. We had a great Christmas. I love Christmas. Randy took off 2 extra days. We've been trying to get the things needed for Brandon's visa. We went to get a letter of good report from the police and Brandon was served a warrent for failing to appear in court. Big scary mess but it all worked our OK. There is another Brandon Reese here and he/s in trouble and hasn't surfaced for a while. But things are working out. It was harder than I thought it would be to get back in to the swing of early morning semenary and making lunches. It is a little hard for Brandon to be home because he is used to doing his own thing and he has to report and read scriptures with us and eat what & when we eat and sleep when we do but it will be OK. I am trying to make Brandon an apron for the temple. He is getting ready to go through. I have learned a lot. I think Jan would be a good one for this project but I am learning.enough for now.love you all
